Class Description & Purpose:

In this class, participants will explore the purpose and processes for teaching interactive editing and purposefully plan interactive editing lessons.

Outcomes:
  • Understand what interactive editing is and how it helps students’ literacy development

  • Explore the five types of interactive editing

Takeaway(s):
  • Purposefully plan interactive editing lessons to meet students’ needs

Introductory - Getting started in an area, examples of possible entry points for implementation, foundational components of a practice/strategy, or big picture thinking around a practice/strategy.
