Modeled & Independent Writing
Participants will have the opportunity to evaluate the purpose, impact, and structure of modeled writing instruction to be used within a balanced literacy framework. Participants will analyze the essential components of effective modeled writing instruction as a support to increase literacy development and intentionally plan for modeled writing in their classrooms.

Create an action plan related to implementing modeling and independent writing into your balanced literacy curriculum
Refined - Practices/strategies at a deeper level of implementation. These classes may offer a new way of thinking and inspiration to implement practices and strategies to refine teaching and learning.
