Class Description & Purpose:

In this class, participants will purposefully plan for the integration of technology into their literacy block to increase student engagement and differentiation.

Outcomes:
  • Examine technology based learning activities and resources focused on increasing literacy development and engagement.
  • Analyze how to purposefully differentiate technology integration based on the literacy needs of individual students.
Takeaway(s):

Create an implementation plan for the purposeful integration of technology into a daily literacy block based on increased student engagement and differentiation.

Introductory - Getting started in an area, examples of possible entry points for implementation, foundational components of a practice/strategy, or big picture thinking around a practice/strategy.
