SCIENCE: K-8 Science Resource Exploration
Class Description & Purpose:
In this class, K-8 teachers across DCSD will come together to develop and review a shared bank of no-cost/low-cost instructional resources to support critical content and process skills in elementary and middle-level science.
Participants will be able to...
Explore high-quality resources compiled by CIPG, as well as have the opportunity to share other helpful digital or print materials they have used in their own classroom(s) to engage students in Life, Earth, and Physical Science content.
All participants will leave with a fresh "go-to" bank of instructional sites, applications, and print ideas to help bring science to life for our curious young learners in DCSD.
Introductory - Getting started in an area, examples of possible entry points for implementation, foundational components of a practice/strategy, or big picture thinking around a practice/strategy.
