Class Description & Purpose:

In this class, participants will evaluate, revise/create instructional strategies that can be used to create effective learning.

Outcomes: 
  • Identify evidence-based instructional strategies
  • Evaluate different instructional strategies to increase student learning
  • Evaluate and incorporate the strategies in planning and executing a lesson
Takeaway(s):

Participants will identify a component of instructional practice where they want to improve.  Develop a personal professional development path to support the identified goal.

Class Level:  

Introductory - Getting started in an area, examples of possible entry points for implementation, foundational components of a practice/strategy, or big picture thinking around a practice/strategy.
