Class Description & Purpose:

In this session targeted to memory and motivation, participants will be able to connect with brain anatomy and its impact on our student’s learning.  By exploring and analyzing practices participants will be able to craft learning opportunities to maximize memory and motivation in their students.

Outcomes: 
  • Explore ways in how the brain learns for sustainable and transferrable learning through motivation and memory
  • Analyze brain friendly classroom practices to positively impact classroom instruction
  • Revise and/or create learning opportunities to provide additional ways for students to learn in preferred brain friendly ways
Takeaways:

Participants will have an opportunity to revise and/or create learning opportunities to provide additional ways for students to learn in preferred brain friendly ways.

Class Level:  

Introductory - Getting started in an area, examples of possible entry points for implementation, foundational components of a practice/strategy, or big picture thinking around a practice/strategy.
